We have a small and very dedicated group of parents who serve our hot lunch. We are looking for a few more to round out the ranks. If you’re available during the day around lunchtime, and would be interested in volunteering on occasion, please contact us at email@example.com.
Please note that you can bring younger children if they are also at home with you. Hot lunch is typically served Tuesday to Thursday. Volunteers would need to be on hand from 11:30-12:30. This is our biggest fundraiser.
The Sir Richard McBride Elementary PAC is pleased to present the first ever ROCK ‘N’ BEAU DANCE PARTY
Join us in the gym Friday, March 6th from 6-8pm for an epic dance party with Host and DJ Rachel Beau.
Rock ‘N’ Beau Parties are created with the intention of providing a safe, inclusive and fun dance party experience for kids. Host and DJ Rachel Beau will lead kids through a series of interactive activities that promote inclusivity and encourage everyone to participate and celebrate together. The night will include a photo booth, balloon fun, face painting and lots of dancing.
The cost is $5/child. The McBride PAC concession will be open selling pizza, drinks and goodies. All proceeds will go to the McBride PAC.
We look forward to seeing you there. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Can you help? We need VOLUNTEERS!
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you can… – Help set up or take down – Monitor games or photo booth – Work concession
Thank you to everyone who attended McBride Elementary’s first ever Imagine Gala. The event was a HUGE success raising $12,500 for our new playground.
Support for the playground addition has been amazing and we could not have done this without everyone in the community. Thank you. We are so excited to share that fundraising for Phase 1 is complete and VSB crews will break ground this summer.
We look forward to sharing information about Phase 2 with everyone soon.
In an effort to be more green please remember to send cutlery from home with your child if they need it for their snack or lunch. The hot lunch program will not provide kids with one time use cutlery. Students are able to drop off their reusable cutlery in the bins outside their classroom once finished. If you would like to purchase a cutlery set please email the PAC. If your child ordered hot lunch that requires cutlery please remind them in the morning, if possible. There is also a speaker announcement reminder before lunch. Thank you for your help in this effort!
Please join us Wednesday February 12th at 6:00pm for our February PAC meeting. This is your opportunity to learn more about PAC initiatives and school activities including the Principal’s update, Imagine Gala fundraising and Capital Campaign updates, the Summer Carnival and more.
